Accounting Assistant (Temporary Assignment)

Salary: $24.00/hr

AirMark Corporation is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant for a temporary assignment starting immediately and continuing through the end of February 2025, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can step in quickly and contribute effectively during this time.
The Accounting Assistant will perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for the Accounting department including accounts receivable, billing, and accounts payable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts receivable, billing, and accounts payable.
- Processes daily deposits.
- Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy. Distributes accounting reports as directed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year Accounting / Clerical experience preferred.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Bookkeeping training preferred.
